Who we are
Technology and manufacturing at the same table
OptiNC is a technology company specialized in CAD/CAM automation for the metal-mechanical industry, working in mold and die, electrodes, general machining and demanding sectors such as aerospace. We combine Autodesk software, proprietary automation solutions and specialized technical services to make manufacturing faster, more consistent and more efficient. Our best-known product, the OptiNC plugin for Autodesk PowerMill, automates more than 100 programming tasks and was born from a real production need.
Our history
From a shop floor problem to an Autodesk partner
The problem
Rafael Sansão, founder of OptiNC, worked as a CAM programmer using Autodesk PowerMill. In his daily routine, he identified how much repetitive and manual tasks consumed time and created room for errors.
The first tools
With a focus on practical industrial applications, Rafael specialized in software development and created internal automation tools, continuously refined in the real production environment, with significant productivity gains.
The OptiNC plugin is born
Recognizing the potential of these solutions beyond internal use, the development of the OptiNC plugin began, structured as a real product.
Launch and founding
After extensive testing and validation, the OptiNC plugin was officially launched, marking the founding of the company. That same year, Rafael joined the Autodesk Expert Elite program.

OptiNC serves customers in more than 15 countries and, now as an authorized Autodesk reseller, offers the complete Autodesk advanced manufacturing portfolio combined with its proprietary technology and technical expertise.
